Meet Our Staff!

Dr. Pam Naranjo, Veterinarian
Pam Naranjo, DVM is a 2002 graduate of Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Current memberships include: American Animal Hospital Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, Society for Theriogenology, the National Labrador Retriever Club. Dr. Pam, her husband Gumi and sons Quinn and Ethan have a home in the country west of Des Moines where they raise Labrador Retrievers and a few Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats. Dr. Pam attends multiple conferences yearly, going way beyond the required continuing education to keep an active veterinary license. In addition to medicine and surgerical continueing ed, Dr. Pam attends the biggest canine reproduction conference every year in the US. She believes in keeping up on all the newest internal medicine research and surgical techniques available as well as cutting edge canine reproduction.
Diana Gilbert, Director of Client Communications
Diana has been with NWVH for approximately 10 years. She answers the phone and keeps Dr. Pam's schedule running smoothly. She is always a friendly voice, a big smile and the one who keeps our atmosphere fun and light. Her job is not an easy one, always working to keep things running, the doctor's appointments booked so our clients don't have a long wait, and making our clinic feel warm and homey. She is kind and compassionate and we are absolutely sure noone could do her job as well as she does. Diana has a husband, Tom, son Matt, daughter Michelle, and a dog, Bonnie and cat, Louise.
